Hello, and welcome to my website.
I am Neev Shah and I am 12. I am currently in 7th grade.
I was previously an elected class representative and member of the student council for my 4th grade class. I am passionate about building robots, writing computer programs and reading the Diary of a Wimpy Kid. When I am not reading or playing the piano, I spend my time helping my younger brother stay out of trouble.
During the 2020 pandemic, I decided to pen down a book. My book Struggle to Strength is about finding your inner strength to over come any challenges.
I love coding and robotics. I am learning several programming languages and want to build robots that help humanity.

When Dolphino the dolphin was born, he did not have any fins to swim. Despite this challenge, he figured out how to move around on his own due to his determination and hard work. Now, Dolphino has to secure a lifesaving gem. Will he be able to pass through the many dangers of the ocean and bring back the gem in time to save lives and the environment?

I am passionate about learning to program. I have dabbled in Scratch & Tynker, and now am learning Python and Javascript. Besides these, I am also learning verbal languages including Spanish, Hindi & Gujarati.

I am a student council member and class representative for my class. I enjoy planning holiday celebration & activities, as well as pursue issues that my fellow class mates care for.
I am donating all my book proceeds to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to protect and conserve all marine life.
I represent my school's speech and debate club in various National Speech & Debate Competitions. I was most recently competing at 38th Stanford Invitational competition, and UCLA invitational.
I am passionate about robotics - designing and programming bots that solve a challenge. I have been participating in competitive robotics sports for 3+ years now.
I am part of the BayBotics robotics club for 2023-2024 VEX Robotics season. Our team won several awards including Robot Skills Award, Think Award & Excellence Award at Northern California tournaments. Our team qualified for VEX Robotics Middle School World Championship in April 2024 where we get to compete with 500 other teams across the world!

I am part of the Virtual Braincells team for VEX Robotics. Our team won several awards including Finalist in the state events, Judges awards and high Skills scores in VEX Robotics Signature events, and state competition. Our team qualified for VEX Robotics Middle School World Championship in April 2023 where we get to compete with 480 other teams across the world!

In my 5th grade, I participated in First Lego League's Cargo Connect challenge with 4 other classmates. Our team "The Cargo Busters" built a robot called "Buster Junior" that completed various challenges on a robot field to pick up cargo from shipyard and deliver it to various house holds. Our robot was programmed using Scratch and block code. This was my first experience with competitive robotics, and our rookie team won a values award at the tournament!
